By integrating the Air Management System (AMS) in the Mission and Tranz 1.5 helmets, CKX offers an unrivaled level of comfort for trail enthusiasts.
Breathe freely in a space where air moisture is efficiently removed. Enjoy the freshness and clean space inside your helmet, free from condensation and frost.
AMS TECHNOLOGY EXPLAINED
AMS operation is based on a physical principle associated with fluid mechanics which has its starting point in aerodynamics.
EXHALED MOIST AIR
MOIST AIR REMOVAL
INSIDE ZONE
REAR ZONE
Inside the helmet, the pressure is higher where the mouth exhales moist air, than the pressure at the back of the helmet.
Air always flows through the easiest path. The pressure difference between the inside and the back of the helmet causes the moist air to flow outwards through the AMS channel. This is how the AMS system actively contributes to reducing internal fog.
INSIDE ZONE
REAR ZONE
When the helmet is moving, outside air hits the helmet and bypasses it.
At the back of the helmet, a low-pressure area is created at the AMS channel outlet.
AMS TECHNOLOGY HELMETS
The brand new full-face snowmobile helmet CKX Mission redefines the trail riding experience. Designed in Canada, it is lightweight and features an aerodynamic and sporty look. The CKX Mission provides effective protection against cold and a considerable reduction in noise. Once the shield is raised, the opening clears the mouth completely.
Discover the improved version of the popular Tranz 1.5 trail helmet. It is the same modular helmet so appreciated by enthusiasts for its reliability and insulation adapted to cold conditions; however, it now provides an enhanced level of comfort via the integrated AMS technology.
